I am sooooo SAD. He has PANDAS and The Lyme test was part of his PANDAS workup and because I have lyme andnot exactly sure when I got it.

The doctor who tested him is Lyme friendly
but not a LLMD. He said that the lab "always comes back + for b.duncani and he thinks its a cross rxn" But I am sending blood to Igenex and prob labcorp for obvious reasons.

He has been on augmentin since Nov and a few months of zith and 2 IVIG.
will be talking to my llmd
He is about 100% right now but still I feel super sick to my stomach.

I am looking for some hugs.
Please please dont advise me on Lyme treatment and say bring him to a LLMD.I know this and well aware of what needs to get done.I amj ust looking for emotional support atm.

Oh I'm so sorry. 6 yr olds should not have to deal with this. Nobody should, but children and parents of these children just break my heart.

TG you are an educated lyme mom who can and will fight to beat this.

I completely understand. I was diagnosed with lyme in October 2011. My nine year old daughter

started having ticks after a strep infection in February. We thought she might have PANDAS. Her pediatrician said no way just stress.

We took her to my LLMD who said many times PANDAS has underlying lyme symptoms and wanted to treat.

She has taken amoxicillin, augmentin, and is on zithromax. Some symptoms have gone away but she still has headaches etc.

Now my youngest daughter is having daily headaches with nausea. What do you do? Take her to the pediatrician who will say virus or something like that.

Take her to LLMD who may want to treat for lyme. I don't want to see lyme behind every bush but I don't want to miss the signs either.

So, I pray alot to keep from worrying asking God to give me wisdom to know what to do.

I give you a great big hug from a mom who is in the same boat.

Sickening... but I guess no big surprise.

May your road lead you to the right path for your family!

Many prayers coming your way. So far I've been lucky but I'm so scared this day will come since I KNOW I had it at least with my last child if not before.

I'm so sorry to hear. It is hard enough when you have it yourself, but when it is your child it is even worse. My 5 and 3 year old have Lyme + cos and I'm more upset about them than myself. Children shouldn't have to feel like this. At least you are experienced and know how to make sure you can treat them properly for good. Hugs to you...
