...try to remember that we are all sick. We have all lashed out like a wounded animal at one time or another...because we felt scared, helpless, alone in our struggle.
If a fellow lymenetter pushes your buttons, instead of stirring the pot, try to see them like this:
Remember the scene in UOS when Mandy was herxing, sitting on the couch struggling to eat her cereal?
Her face was gray and she was soooo sick.
What would you say to her if she lashed out? Would you cuss her out? No, you would try to wrap some comforting words around her to help her feel better despite her struggle.
Let's try to see our fellow Lymenetters in this light...and treat them accordingly...lets wrap some warm, comforting words around them...even when they lash out.
This disease is scary, the treatment is misery, so let's try to hold each other up with support, even when they have a bad day and lash out...because we've all been there.

Thank you for that lax mom. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect in spite of the fact that you may not agree with their views or opinion.
We are all diverse and that makes us all special.
Use what you can from each post, and ignore what you don't need or want. We all need each other.

Thanks, lax mom. That was well said. It needs to be repeated now and then. We all get angry and things happen. RECOVERING from it even stronger is the good part!
Treat each other with as much love as you can muster!

Nicely stated lax mom!
I guess we are all doing the best we can at any given time and we are all human.
We all have our moments and divine understanding is sometimes called for:)
I agree about Grace....Just so glad to have these boards. I try not to get sucked into any unhealthy type of discussions that may fire me up. Just not worth it...

Nice reminder, laxmom!
Sort of reminds me of this short video....we never really know what other people are going through.

1 Peter 3:9 Don't pay back evil for evil or insult for insult. Instead, give blessing in return. You were called to do this so that you might inherit a blessing.

. . . SLML - Hope you don't mind that I finnish your blessing? Thanks....
Pour out love in your life by being sympathetic, relate kindly to those who are hurting, weather self inflicted or not, love one another, keep the high standard of love for the family of God, be compassionate and humble, don't set your heart on high minded things, be content to be a servant in all things and finally don't repay evil for evil, insult for insult but be a blessing, to this your were called, that you may inherit a blessing.
Do the opposite of what everyone else is doing, I used to repay evil for evil and insult for insult, I must not do this any longer, now I must be a blessing for this is what I was called to. Dear Lord help me to be a blessing in the lives I touch everyday, help me in some way make their lives a blessing in some way everyday,
Steve
