Such a shame. I am clearly aware of the tactics they use on minors, having worked in a regional childrens hospital in Dallas. Hidden camera's are hugely used under the slightest suspicions. Granted sometimes it might be merited... but in most cases, I think not.
Surely this is great medical science at work? or perhaps corrupted social workers and physicians with an agenda?
Remember, many physicians and facilities are afraid of the truth and will do anything to keep it hidden.
Poor girl. Its all in her head.

Sorry for the tabloidesque source. I'm sure it's taken from a CT newspaper, but I didn't look for the original article.

When did hospital become synonymous with jail?
Ridiculous.
And why is it that some poor kids can be beaten within an inch of their lives by their parents/guardians, and that is completely ignored.
But a family trying to help their daughter heal, and this poor girl gets jailed? Oh excuse me, hospitalized!?

Children hospital in boston is an absolute sh*t show.
I went there for a few years for my severe, crushing spinal/back pains when I was 14-16 (like 5-6 years ago now).
Bad time.

This is insane. When I read that they didn't even give her balloons that friend's had sent her on her birthday, it just felt so bad for her. Giving deflated balloons 10 days after the fact is just wrong.
This girl obviously have people around who care for her. Let them care! This hospital sounds like a death sentence.

Apparently, "somatoform disorder" is a big money-maker for the hospitals, esp if the patient is admitted.

Hi everyone.
Glad to see this posted. I know alot about the situation.
This family found me through a fb page called Free Elizabeth Wray.
Elizabeth had the same thing happen to her. She has PANDAS, lyme etc.
So I heard about her case and since this very easily could have been my son, I helped coordinate a protest october 2013.
She is home now and while not 100% she is much better.
So I have been speaking with this family several months.
The child has mitochondrial disease which is genetic.
No lyme here.
This has been going on 10 months. Thankfully this case has gotten a lot of press.
I have had a dozen parents contact me and tell me their nightmarish experiences.
Just one mom today told me she went to the parking lot and BCHput or hired to put a BOOT on her wheel so she couldn't drive off property. That is lunacy.
I had my own bad experience with bch when my son saw a neuro for PANDAS. He was inbetween flares so seemed fine.
Long story short, the neuro grilled me about my lyme. What kind of test? Who diagnosed you..
I told her I had a cdc pos result but I did not think any of this had tondo with my son.
Even before she did a neuro exam. She told us no way he had PANDAS. Oh and that I should stay off the internet.
I was mad!!! About 2 months later, he was dx by dr swedo and her team and drs at yale unanimously. Classic clear cut PANDAS
Luckily I was able to leave with my son.
So with a bit of help I organized a protest at the court house tomorrow. The parents have a court date and we will be supporting from outside.
I anticipate a good turnout.
I really hope they can get her moved back to tufts.
The court put a gag order on the parents. Can you imagine??
You cant even ask for help!
The media has picked it up nicely this time.
I do worry bch will retaliate against me but if it were my child locked away, I would want some help. Please send some good vibes their way.
For more info go to fb
And look up Boston Children's Hospital stop stealing our kids
Or free justina
And a miracle for justina.
You can see pics from the protest and there will be media.
Fox ct will be airing it several times that evening.

Oh yes, it was Elizabeth Wray with Lyme. I remember that one well. So proud of you for your part in securing her release.
All these cases are eerily similar. Is Children's Boston run by psychopaths?!!
I'm glad you've taken up this cause. Honestly, this is just unreal.

In the 1960's, it was such a revelation that illness could be psychosomatic. And people were always seen as needing to see a psychiatrist if their symptoms weren't easily solved.
Why do we still live in such ignorance?
Inflammation in the brain and nervous system can cause all kinds of symptoms, including so-called psychological disorders.
Not to mention that infections can destroy the brain.
Such scapegoating.
I think most people want to get attention in a healthy way and not fake an illness.
And, the attention you get from an illness is NOT HEALTY. The attention is degrading and soul-destroying. Nobody wants that.
Blaming the patient is a easy "file 13" and makes the doctor's job easier.
