Maybe I need to keep charts tattooed on my forehead... But I can't seem to keep all of the information straight.
It's apparent to me that healing lyme isn't just abx, it's a "whole body" healing that can take years.... But I seem to constantly forget the many things I'm supposed to do. Sometimes I think the more info I read and absorb, the worse my memory is.
Abx, supps, vitamins, detox, diet, alternative treatments, lab tests, dr appts, and the list goes on. Not to mention a family of 5 to keep straight. Christmas shopping! Oh, and that thing called a job!
I keep hoping that as this all becomes a way of life (not that I asked for this "way") it will be easier to remember.

I bought myself a lime green spiral notebook and it sits at my computer desk. I take notes on possible things to try.
I used to take notes on little pieces of paper and then I had notes all over the place. But in a spiral binder I can go back through pages and pages of notes.
Make notes on things to ask the doctor. Possible tests to run, etc. You could even address the top of each page with Detox ideas, Diet ideas, etc and be even more organized.
I'm very visual person. I tend to remember somewhat better if I see something, write it down and maybe, just maybe I'll retain it.
Sometimes not so well. Why being able to see it over and over in my own notebook helped.
By the way, it was just me. I can't image with 5 of them in home. But still this should help you. Might even have page with each person's name, write down something you read that pertains to that family members symptoms.

I use a dry erase board to put my med and supp schedule on, and a timer every 2 hours.
It get's so complicated and I can't remember sometimes either.

i have used both those things but when i was dx with 3 kids still at home, a barn full of horses and 75 min commute to a hard job...i really had to cut back. i had to keep the job cuz it was mine that had health insurance. everyone had to help out...husband even young kids there was complaining but i do think in the long run it didnt hurt anyone...and probably helped. later - after divorce -i had to back off and let my ex's girlfriend and then wife do many very special things...shopping for prom etc.
in the beginning of treatment it is very hard but also very important. the more you do right the less you may need in the long run
good luck. its hard but worth it.

I had a list typed up with supplements, meds and the times to take them. I put it on my bathroom mirror.
The dry erase board is a good idea and so is the note book. Just find something that works for you. Try not to stress if you can't remember everything.
Most of us have to write things down.
