My daughter is turning 26 next year and will no longer be on my husband's insurance. She's a part-time student and a part-time worker so she doesn't get insurance at school or at work.
If she buys through the state exchange or ACA, what's the best insurance for Lyme?
Is Harvard Pilgrim any good?
Thanks for any advice....

I have blue cross through an employer based in MA, they are ok. They paid for my picc line insertion (as long as you don't list the reason as lyme!) but not the rocephin. You need a positive antibody and western blot for them to pay for treatment.
They have covered my other medications: Zithromax
Picking up mepron tomorrow..not sure how much it will cost!

BCBS covered all my oral meds as well as bicillin shots. But there are many different BCBS plans.

My daughter has been in treatment for five years including one year of IV and Harvard Pilgrim has paid for almost everything. We have one of the PPO plans. If you read their Lyme IV pre-authorization policy, it is written to exclude almost everyone from treatment, so I can't speak for others.
