Any other Catholics here with lyme? If so did you develop ocd, scruples, or odd behavior?

All of the above, and I am not even Catholic!

All of it resolved with good antibiotic treatment.

Did you develop some symptoms that are particular to Catholicism?
"Odd behavior" covers alot of ground. [Wink]

Obsessive compulsive disorder is probably from Lyme, but I've read of children getting it after having certain infections.

Editing to add:
I looked at your other posts and saw this:

Topic: Crazy?

You said you've had multiple strep infections.
You got some good advice on that.

Look into drinking Kefir to replace gut bacteria.
Look into magnesium...OCD is one of the symptoms of low magnesium.

Look into essential fatty acids, like pharmaceutical quality fish oil.
Fish oil improves the quality of the cell membranes, which are vital to cell function.

Hey, I went to your Academy!
Hope you can still laugh, or chuckle, or smile.
Mostly, I hope you are feeling better today.

I'm Catholic with lyme since 1995. NOt sure that there is a connection. Head stuff hits without discrimination. Good luck to you. [Smile]

Any Holy Rollers with lyme out there???

If my lyme had not destroyed my immune system I would be in the Holy Roller church all the time.

I miss it a lot.

I would just join Roller DERBY !

Aside from knocking others over (I would never do that, COULD never do that) it would be such fun to skate and weave in and out at lightning speed.

I'd put little rockets on my skates!
