I am back justl to see how every body is doing.
I actually am one of the lucky ones if you don't know me.
I had first contact in 1993 andwas a dentist for 25 years.
I was misdiagnosed and undiagnosed for 7 years prior to treatment.
5 years of treatment and have been in remission for almost 12 years.
I have a bout of of Lyme about twice a year which is controlled with Zithromax , diflucan, plaquenil and acyclovir.
Take this for 10 days.
So there is hope to get better.
Don't give up, it's a long battle and took years to go into remission but it can be done.
Never give up hope, I was as anybody here, non ambulatory,
No brain function, knee replacement, fibro, CFS .
Most have left but left damage.
Just want to let the newbies know my story.
Sorry if I posted in wrong area.
You can contact me if you want any of my expertise info.

stymielymie, as a dentist, what would you recommend doing for someone whose teeth are simply falling apart.

Its not that there were cavities... its more like there are just pieces breaking off until nothing is left.

Diagnosed with Lyme and clinically diagnosed with babesia. Diagnosed 2011, LLMD suspects he had lyme 10 years prior.

Still has a long ways to go to be well. Basically housebound at this point.

Thanks for offering hope!

MannaMe, I had a friend whose teeth were

crumbling. Her chiro put her on Standard Process

Biodent and it helped a lot! I would not have

believed this was possible but she swears by it.

Hello, Doc Dave. Nice to have you visiting. Have heard of other cases like yours, with attacks once or twice a year, knocked down,OK again. Wish I was in that situation.

Lookup, checked the ingredients in this and it is mostly calcium, phosphorus and manganese. Have not heard of many people taking the last two. Lyme bacteria are said to use manganese instead of iron, but I don't think we can stop taking minerals that we need on that account. Maybe the reason our teeth are in bad shape, mine too, is because the lyme bacteria are using the minerals we need. Lyme uses up magnesium too, which is why we have to pile it on to make up for that deficiency.

I know! When I look at Standard Process labels -

they just seem ridiculous sometimes. Standard

Process knows why they put things in their

products but one may not

understand the workings of how they came to the

conclusion to use what they do. Your thinking

might be spot on so it is interesting.

Like for example,

Cataplex E, for vitamin E, has only 2

international units of alpha tocopherol compared

to what one can get in a health food store which

is at least 400iu. I was doing some reading in

the practitioner's handbook and it said that

alpha tocopherol is only ONE form of vitamin E

tocopherol (7 all together)

and that that is what the US govt has based it's

standard on but(!) that to get a whole plant

based complete vitamin E (best source is green

lettuce and peas) it is much more effective. The

natural food based vitamin E also has with it

vitamins F,A,D,J,K and manganese, etc.

It said that when one takes isolated Vitamin E

the body will rob itself to add vitamins F,A,D,K,

manganese, etc to try to make it whole.

I came to this bit of information about Vitamin E because I was

studying low back pain for women under the

pregnancy chapter. It stated in there that if a

woman has low back pain she is low in vitamin E.

"OK," I thought. I have some low back ache so I

am going to try this." I had some of that

Cataplex E so I took two of them and within 30

minutes the backache went away. Wow! Ok! I

believe! The Cataplex E is good for muscle

cramping/tension/connective tissue among other

things.

I mentioned BioDent because I have not heard of

anything else that can help teeth. It may not be

right for you. You'd have to get the product

through a practitioner. Check around with

different chiropractors and see if you can pick

some up, if it is ok with your doctor, if you like.

Hey, Doc Dave!
I do remember you! Good to know you are doing okay.

Speaking of that, I remember a cartoon with a bird, labeled
"The bluebird of okay-ness". That seemed to describe the
hope of Lyme disease patients back then, - sadly, it still does…

But I digress… - Charge that off to Lyme disease, too.

Anyway, glad you came back, and thanks for the update and info on how you cope with relapses.

A big hug from
Ann - OH

Lookup .. Go easy on it when you first get them. For best results, go to "Magnesium Advocacy Group" on FB .. tons of info there!

Another remineralization product I think is excellent is Ultra Body Toddy, with 72 minerals in it from ancient Utah seabeds. Whenever I take it, my nails get hard, so I think that's a good sign.

Lymetutu- I took 1/2 tsp already (oops, lol). I

was fine. I just tried a drop of the RNA which is

supposed to be one drop sub-lingual. It is

hard to shake it out and have a drop land

sub-lingual. One drop landed on my chest and

another on the floor(ok, there goes 2 bucks)and

it tastes like dirty socks smell or something.

But, still, I am interested to see what it does.

I'll let you know in a week or so. [Smile]

Robin123- another one I can feel in my skin/nails

and teeth is the diatomaceous earth. But, I think

one might have to take care if one has kidney

issues.
