I called doc and they sent me to urgent care. I was there 3 hrs. The doc was reasonable and able to hear problems in chest. Im not happy his answe was doxy, 100 mg 2 x a day...because others on here are taking that for this bug and it isnt working well
But its better than them.telling me to wait it out. He also prescribed me a narcotic cough syrup and steroid inhaler
I got the doxy and probiotics and elderberry and i am.going to try to take all i have and musinex and a lot of fluids and no dairy andtry to get some good sleep
My son really got better from this in two days with stronger zith than i got
Do u think that is cuz i had so many abx in past?
Im wondering how the others are that have this bug

Hope you feel better soon.
This bug is something else. My daughter just finished a steroid pack and a z-pack and she's still coughing and is losing her voice.
Back to the dr tomorrow.

Yeah, the pollen is really bad this year.
That's what set dd's problems in motion, I think.
Plus, it's been very rainy/wet here, so more mold than usual too.

Look into the benefits of using a salt inhaler.
This is dry salt crystals in a tube...you inhale air through the salt, picking up salt ions that you breathe deeply into your lungs. It reduces inflammation and helps to clear out mucous.
Several people at LymeNet tried this in the past for their asthma symptoms, with good results. I bought a "salt pipe" more than ten years ago...there are more brands now and the prices are lower. This is excellant for bronchitis and pneumonia.

Have you had a chance to check this out?
For ten or twenty dollars you can improve your lung function. It won't interfere with other treatments.
