Apparently, dr's aren't even using antibiotics in the critical windows of time when people first get sick. The logic is awful.

"I am very fortunate as I caught it so early that no treatment is necessary," the reality star explained. "But we are going to monitor it."

"I believe in the power of the mind. You are sick if you want to be sick, you are well if you want to be well. That is just the way I choose to live my life."

Yes, Amber. Get ready for a Big Surprise.

Duh....so sad. Another one bites the dust. Makes it really hard to not think there is a master plan to get us all sick

I kinda agree with you, lpkayak - if they wanted to help us, they would. They are choosing not to, so I think it's nefarious...

She's in for a rude awakening, but I guess she'll blame future ailments on the cancer.

Wow. I try really hard not to be judgemental, but I must admit my first thought was that I find this as another injustice to the Lyme community. I'm hoping she becomes educated about this disease and posts accurate info in the future. It gives us another bad rap.

I also wonder if this is a way to invalidate Yolanda Foster's/Hadid's struggle with Lyme disease like Lisa Rinna did????

Unlike you, I have become way more cynical these days. I watched that horrid show with Amber on it with her husband and it's already proven she and her husband are grifters and scammers.

He scammed cancer patients with false hope drugs and made a million by being a whistle-blower when the Feds were going to indict him and his colleagues.

These are not good people!

Yolanda cleared the way with all of her mis-directs about lyme. She spent 2 years in bed and once her contract with Bravo got cancelled, she's vacationing in a bikini on distant beaches somewhere. Not saying she faked it, but the timing is so gratuitous to me.

And this Amber? Another housewife who has learned from the other show, lyme is invisible as an illness and tests are unreliable. So hey, who is going to question her claim to lyme, right?

How long before it becomes the disease du jour for those who are using it b/c it's hard to prove or disprove? Fakers are real and it's going to happen more and more.

It's actually a discredit to us who have suffered for so long with no help. Who is left to believe anymore?

I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but my gut is saying don't believe it. [tsk]

Oh, and have you heard Yolanda Foster is writing a book about her lyme journey? Really? What exactly is it going to say that we don't already know? No, it's not directed or marketed to US friends, it's for her fans!!! Gimme a break....

They caught it early so no treatment is necessary? Wow. Her doc is as dumb as a brick. Good luck Amber, and may the force be with you!
