Wow! This is a powerful move by the Association of American Physicians Surgeons.
That the Government Group setting regulations for Medicare and Medicaid should depend on a private organization like the Infectious Disease Society of America (which denies the existence of chronic Lyme disease among other faults) for guidelines for the use of antibiotics and care of patients with infectious diseases such as Lyme disease and other tick-borne diseases is atrocious.
I hope this letter of protest gets the attention it deserves.
