Oh lord-I was cleaning out my computer and saw lymenet. I have been doing great-I almost forgot about those horrible LYME filled years. Keep fighting and searching for answers.

Thanks. I know we all say "we will come back when we are well"; but honestly, I got nervous thinking I was "jinxing it" by posting
I've been off abx 3 years after an 8 year fight. I feel fine...just in time to go thru menopause symptoms, lol.
I try not to think too hard about how sick I was. Went for counseling for a while...I think we all have some PTSD from living thru this

Hi, beths! I remember you. So glad you are well and off meds for 3 years.
I have been cured for over 11 years now. I agree that I noticed some PTSD from living through lyme. Even that is gone now.
So happy for you, girl!!!

How about it! Good to see you! Even better to hear you are doing well! Yippee!!!!
How about going to the success stories post and adding yours to it? We need all the encouragement we can get!
Glad I read this today! I needed a positive story. I'm just starting out my journey . .. even though I've been very sick for 3.5 years now....
If feels like I should be ending my journey, but I'm just beginning. It's hard to see the end. It's hard to not feel I'm on a hamster wheel going nowhere.
SO, thank you for the positive story.

Thanks everyone! I will post on success stories. My Dr had told me I was one of his sickest patients ever...,just finished my boot camp class today, then went for a bike ride
It can be done...a lot of trial and error, but you can beat LYME and co's
