Got to meet with a life-long friend at an IHOP by Seatac! W. has been our friend since early college days ('76) and stood in our wedding ('78).
He is also the man that I inadvertently punched in the nose while giving a "Demonstration Speech" in '77.
How could I "inadvertently punch" one of my best friends? Simple. I was giving a demo speech on "fake fight". To lead off with the demo, unbeknownst to everyone in the class except Silver, my professor and THE MAN USING MY SUPER 8 MM CAMERA TO FILM IT!! W and I had a "fake fight".
Welllll he looked up when he shouldn't have and 250 pound TX Cord hit him.
Anyway, we were on our way out of the IHOP (at 230 a.m.)and there was an on-duty sheriff sitting at the front (paid duty - just in case) and by the time we got done with the story he was laughing so hard he 'bout fell out of his chair!
It was a good visit.

Hi <<<<< Lymetoo >>>>>,
Visiting was the one light spot,in a hard trip. We saw the friend from our wedding, and later another dear friend from college days.
They are family,so LymeNet, our church family, and college/wedding pals, are now our family.
Sad what happened with the tenant/relative at my dad's place, but I am giving it to God and moving on. I cannot let the sadness, and disappointments make me more ill.
It was nice to see old friends again!!
