I got Listeriosis eating hummus for the first time ever. It is a nasty thing too- very ill. Not eaten any since cause I am not that stupid. HA!

Here is info on another recall for hummus- some in a snack tray. Other is in a cup. Please check for details at the site.

I got an email from Sam's Club that the hummus I bought from them was being recalled for listeria. They sent the email two months after I bought and ate it! I am so mad because I was blaming my feeling ill on Mepron, and switched up my medication because I thought my stomach couldn't handle Mepron! I am back on Mepron and hope I did not become resistant to it in the meantime. Makes me so mad!

That's awful onebeed! A lot of good it does months or even weeks or days after you've eaten the product! So sorry that happened!

It also, like you mentioned, messes up your treatment protocol when this bad stuff happens. Hard enough to nail down our symptoms, but add the listeria and it makes it much worse.
