Hi <<<<< LymeNet Family >>>>>,

I wont be trying to type much for a few days, had an accident putting groceries away.

Thursday evening, I raised up from putting somethings in the frig' for TrekC',and I tho't I was clear of the frig' inside ceiling.

I was not, and sustained a very painful back of head/neck injury. Dizzy, sick to my stomach for the night and next day, and so on.

Eyes seem okay, but I feel shaky, and more tired than usual. So for a couple days at least,I wont be trying to type anything serious or of import.

Y'all remain in my tho'ts and prayers, tho' I feel a bit muddled right now,and still headachey. TrekC' heard me hit,and holler, but was limited in what he could do,after his heart issues. He was in the back of the house at the time.

Hopefully it will calm down soon.as I have about had it w/ doctors and Medicaid.

1. Not a grand way to start out the new year, my friend.

2. Bet you won't do that again, at least for a little while.

3. If your head continues to hurt I want you to go to the ER. Just don't mention Lyme and that should help.

4. I see you are competing with me to try and take the annual Clutz of the Year award away from me. It's not going to happen, so stop trying.

5. Happy New Year to you and yours.

Hi there <<<<< me, HW88, Tinny', susank., and Rumigirl >>>>>,

I think it knocked any smarts I had plum out'a my brain.

Still somewhat headache-y, and sore neck [separate issue with neck, extra cervical rib issue].

It may be a few days to get into a Dr. so we'll see what happens. The Lyme Issue seems to arrive to Drs.' before I do,no thanks to a

...'Medical Assistant' who seems to think that should go into every report. So I do the best I can in that regard. So far it hasn't been a problem at local UC.

So I may end up going there yet again... time will tell. There are other appointments for TrekC' too.

I keep hoping the headache and neck pain will ease if I am careful... who Knows.

Thanks for the kind tho'ts and replies. and those of us, who have these kinds of problmes [er uh... problems, tho' I seem to be a problmess], should form a the Klutzy Klub...don't you think Tinny? !!

Funny YOU! HA!

Glad you are doing a bit better. And maybe a Klutzy Klub would be nice. Once you are feeling better we can discuss it.

Hi there <<<<< Tinny >>>>>,

Still fighting a bit of a headache/neck-ache but the last three Drs. my 'PCP' sent me to , excused me as a patient, cause they couldn't do anything for me.

At this point, I don't trust Doctors. Now the Klutzy Klub , I think a lot of us here would be entitled to join.

We have the Lyme Walk Lurch, the invisible dust bunny hop, trip, and drop [not nearly so much fun as ,a hop, skip, and jump. Walkers into walls that shouldn't be there. Oh, and, flat surfaces that slant, tip, or ripple with out warning.

Any and all of these, can cause we Klutz clubbers difficulties, and many more things as well.

As for me, I have tendonitis, right wrist, and both ankles, and I seem to have lost my spatial abilities, and sometimes depth perception.

I have had at least four concussions, racing on foot, and the garage wall grabbed me[ I was still a child], a ten pound + kitty cat knocked a wooden beam on my head, he was climbing [long story], an old rocking chair that broke [and knocked me out].

And in Oct. 2011, I lost my balance after removing a window unit AC,at least I had set it down. I tripped over an invisible dust bunny, and hit my head on a wooden tray when I fell backwards. None of them were any fun to deal with.

I also had a compression concussion back in '09 when my 80 lb. husky mix suddenly pulled me down the back steps. And I sat down very very hard, and very surprised.

There's more, but that's more than enough pain to remember, with my most recent refrigerator incident.

I've never had good eye hand coordination, have left right differentiation issues, and dyscalcula [like dyslexia but with numbers, a learning disorder.]

In short, I art a Klutz, I often wonder if I was born with LD and Co-infections. It would explain a lot of things for me.

Oh gosh, sorry to hear that. I was going to say that it sounds like it could be a concussion, but then saw that you are more than familiar with the sx of concussions. Take it easy!
