Hi Everyone, I have been off the forum for over a year fighting a horrible lawsuit that has occupied all of my waking thought. I am doing much better physically though. I believe I am over the lyme.

The reason I am asking about the PE-1 is because one of my horses fell on the ice and got a huge gash below his knee that is not healing. He can hardly walk.

The first day the vet was worried he might have to be put down but after a load of abx he was better. Then he got worse. The vet says it is not infected any more just painfully healing.

Well, I found my PE-1 after years of wondering where it was. It is FDA approved to stimulate circulation to help with healing and to reduce pain. The only problems is I can't find the book to know which setting to use.

Does anyone have the book? I need to know what the best setting is for a wound and also for his pain.

Thanks, and I hope you are all doing better. This site was a life savor for me. You will get well if you just stay on top of which infection is dominant.

I have one:

Setting E for areas of yellow scar tissue that are generally formed internally on tendons, ligaments and sub-acute (lingering but not chronic)conditions. Field use shows this to help with reducing inflammation associated with injuries and infections.

PE-1 Setting A (9.2 Hz), for bone, joints, ligaments, viscera and tendons.

Works well in comb. with PE-1 Setting G (lymph) and Setting E (inflammation assoc with injuries and infections)

Setting C - to decrease pain.

Summary: Setting E, A, C and G.

Hope that helps!

Thank you so much lookup! That helps a lot. I did him yesterday and today and it is not as oozy as it was so I believe it is working.

I will try those setting tomorrow. I think I should begin with E and C and when it starts o heal do A and G.

Lymetoo, thank you for saying hello. I hope you are doing ok.

Another reason I have not been on is that I forgot my password. This old computer remembers it but I don't so I can't use my normal laptop. I miss the good people on this site.

You are welcome nefferdun. I used the PE-1 on a scar and overnight there was significant improvement! Pretty amazing.

The scar flattened out and went pain free from just one treatment! It was a fairly new scar, maybe a couple of months old.

Sending speedy healing vibes to your horse!
