A very nice salute to Mrs. Jean F. Galbreath from the national Lyme Disease Association (LDA) for her dedication, educational efforts and for leading a Lyme disease support group for over two decades!

Hey Lone Wolf! Nice to see you! Always!

Yes, she is incredible. She has done so much to educate Maryland residents over the years, both health care professionals and the public.

Of course in the "old days" (and even some now) she would get calls from all over the USA because there weren't many, if any volunteer patient advocates in most of the states. I don't know how she kept up with all of it.

You won't see her online posting, but she is working extremely hard just the same. Very educated on TBD's too, one of the best!

Some of her best efforts, in my opinion, have been helping the children, including me, of course! A dear lady.

[lol]

We sure could use a dozen more just like her! A real gem she is, a real gem.

And... as I am always short on my disability income to pay for the Lyme website server fees, she pitched in by covering the annual fee for the children's site...

www.DrJonesKids.org

I really didn't want to shut it down because it has been one of the most used websites nationally and world wide, but it is coming to that unfortunately.

Sorry to say, I've had to shut down 3 other sites this year because I just can't afford them- so I feel very fortunate and blessed to have her make that offer out of the blue for the children and parents sake!

I want people to know her generosity and true dedication to our cause is unbeatable.

A real gem she is, for sure!

Hi TC! Such a kind soul! Didn't realize sites were closing down. Dr. Jones Kids site in trouble too? What can we do? If not able to post info here can you pm me?

Remember our time in NC with fondness! So nice to put faces with aliases!
