I hate the feelings I have when I first wake up.
I guess if you don't wake up, you have no worries.

But upon waking, I feel utter mayhem and panic !
I set up a triage unit in my head.

It's a dissection of symptoms. How am I feeling today ?
My mind races. . .utter chaos. Everyday it's something different.
Not that AWLFUL hangover feeling though, thank God.

Anxiety over what I will have to deal with for the day.
Every damn day, no let up, EVER !

I just wish everything wasn't so front and center and in your face the minute you wake up.

Hey BB,

So sorry you awake to a panic session! NOT fun at all! Maybe something we can figure out can help you?

Do you have a brain book? Mine is a spiral notebook like is used in schools. I allow one page for each day- making the dates on the top of the page in advance and filling in what I need or should do on that day.

That helps my thoughts be more organized and stops, or slows down that panic feeling and thoughts of "what do I do now?", "what do I do now?", "what do I do now?".

With my brain book near by I know I don't HAVE to remember so much stuff- taxing my tiny brain- cause it is all written down, so that to me is sort of relaxing.

Not saying getting a brain book will immediately stop the panic feeling, but once you get it in your mind that you don't have to "remember" all things every day, maybe you can relax a bit more?

I've been using frankincense oil for calming and it seems to help. I get my jolt of weird freaky panic sometimes in the evening. In the morning- MY morning- I am dead to the world for about 2 hours so I don't need it then, but you might.

I put a few drops around my wrists and breath it in (smell it). Don't know why it works, but it seems to help.

One other thought- are you eating enough to keep your "sugar" levels steady? If I don't eat for X number of hours I get jittery and panicky too. Eating something calms that sensation down.

Since it is happening 1st thing in the morning (long stretch with no eating), might having a glass of juice, milk, bourbon or something immediately upon waking help?

BTW- Just kidding about the bourbon!

Peppermint Schnapps is much better! [lol]

Thanks Tincup, you are priceless.

I love frankincense, it's one of my favorites.
No booze, no sippie poo's, no fun. . .

akinwlf, that tea sounds wonderful. Always time for tea.

I hate mornings too. I used to get up early and do stuff. Now it seems like whenever I get up, I don't feel halfway normal until 10 or 11 in the morning.

If I get up really early sometimes I feel anxious too. The amount of sleep I seem to need sometimes is ridiculous. If I tell myself I'm lazy and try to get up and do more stuff it always backfires.

Why you guys don't try to take liver supplements and binders BEFORE going to bed?

I take milk thistle during the day and in the evening, I add some zeolites. Not daily, because I have no lyme, but I feel it makes my mornings feel good.

In the morning and during the day, I take chlorella.

Now I'm on a super antioxidant diet (with blueberries, berries, loads of other fruits, veggies etc), so my basic treatment is eating.

A William says that foods affect the mood.

He suggests eating one mango before bedtime. You can also buy it frozen, take it off the freezer in the morning, keep it in the refrigerator or not, depending on how you like your mango (I love juicing).

Mango helps to improve the mood.

Another very good herb according to him is lemon balm. To be taken before bed.

and avoid computer before bed. Computer, mobile phone, probably TV, if you can, not to get excited.

But great part of anxiety comes also from pathogens, and viruses in the brain. And neurotoxins they produce.

That is why antioxidants and binders may be a good idea, SPECIALLY before bedtime (because the body will try to detox during the night, and in the morning, you'll get all those awful feelings).

The urine is darkest in the morning, right? That's because the body cleans itself in the night.

No binders, no antioxidants, no right vitamins and minerals during the day mean = toxic body in the morning.

That's just my take on the problem.

Of course hormones, electrosmog are also other causes... [Frown]
