How are you guys?

I suspect most of the group I messaged with is long gone. I’ve been away for a while. I feel bad about that. My original name was junkyardwilly. Couldn’t remember my login. Lymetoo was really helpful and encouraging for me. Keebler was/is a great person on this board.

I got sick in 09. I got lucky that I found/figured it out. I was sick but not as bad as many. Found out about dr c in MO and began treatment. For 3 years I remained sick. I didn’t think I would ever get better.

Anyway I’ve been better since 2012. I’ve been meaning to come back and post but life gets away from you. This place was a great help and support system. I really appreciate ilall the help I received here.

I ended up marrying my gf. She stood by me through the whole disease. I also had a son 9 months ago and he’s great. Gl to all of you. Wish you the best and wanted you to know that there are success stories out there

Wow your story has so many similarities to mine. Including Dr C in MO. I am 7 months into treatment, and let me tell you how awesome it is to have you come back to say it can work!!!!

Thank you for that!!!!

Oh please. You guys gave me so much more than I could ever give back.

Lymetoo I can’t belive you’re still on here. Your dedication to helping people on here is such a noble endeavor.

Mash, like I said I saw him for years. He’s a great man. I owe him my life. I often wondered and asked him if I’d ever get better. He assured me I would. He was right. I know some don’t get better but I did.

I’m sorry so many here are marginalized and mistreated for being sick. My wife is an rn and has tried to inform others who could be sick from Lyme about what their “mystery” Illness could be. I really believe eventually we will be accepted as legitimately ill.

Great story! I was treated by Dr C for 2 yrs and it helped a lot. I just referred some one to him yesterday. We are lucky some of these experienced docs keep on taking care of us

Its really helpful for newbies to see a positive post like this
