received a notice from cardiologist about appt. said i need breast exam and shots....uh huh...tetanus, pneumonia for seniors, and something called zoster.
as if I don't have enough going on. I think sometimes we get too many things and then our immune system goes haywire.
I'm going to refuse all these...again.

And there is a new,better to prevent shingles. I had shingles a long time ago, but you don't get immune. I plan to get the newest shot and I hope you will.
A family member had a severe case, on the side of the face and was severely ill for more than two months - had residual pain after that. No fun.

- I wish I had a better way with words. I've been trying to think of how to say this, concisely, and just matter of fact but that's just not my reality.
So, my point is that it's just not so simple as one step taken or not taken. Whatever the decision, if vaccines are administered, beforehand, and afterward, there are important measures to take that might mitigate possible effects from the adjuvants in those who might be so affected.
Detail specific to various vaccines, even the new shingles one, in the link above. There are some things of concern with each.
Some people get lucky and seem to do just fine yet many others do not - in varying degrees.
Still, even if vaccine is declined there are still steps to take to be proactively guarded. Ongoing steps to become as educated as possible in all aspects.
For starters, be sure to get Stephen Buhner's book on antiviral herbs.
Get to know Paul Stamets' work in the field of mushrooms and their immune support potential.
Also best to consult with a naturopathic doctor -- before any kind of shingles might appear. This is far easier to prevent that treat. Yet, if one is faced with shingles, full action is required right away. No time then to have to wait a week or two to see a naturopathic doctor or to get the Rx from even your PCP. Time is of the essence.
Education now matters. Creating a multi-faceted action plan is key. -
