Why Our Researchers/Doctors Have A Hard Time Being Published...

Here is a list BY Paul Auwaerter (IDSA Lyme guidelines) that says what journals he is an ad-hoc reviewer for; you know, the John Hopkins guy that still insists and teaches others about- that there is no such thing as chronic Lyme disease.

Editorial Activities (ad hoc reviewer)

American Family Physician

American Journal of Managed Care

American Journal of Medical Sciences

American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene

British Medical Journal

Clinical Infectious Diseases

Emerging Infectious Diseases

European Journal of Internal Medicine IDSA Guideline Reviews

International Journal of STD & AIDS

Journal of the American Family Physician

Journal of the American Medical Association (JJAMA))

Journal of General Internal Medicine

Journal of Infectious Diseases

Journal of the Physician and Sports Medicine

Lancet

Medicine

Medical Principles and Practice

New England Journal of Medicine

The link Tincup posted is his curriculum vitae.
Which is a glorified word for resume. He was applying for a promotion and his resume is pladded and long. He lies so much, who knows if 1/2 of this is true.

Talk about putting lipstick on a pig.

It's a shame there's politics in science.

Many medical journals pay tens (or even hundreds) of thousands dollars for those who are on their review board.
