This is a public service announcement for Lyme sufferers.
Please try not to make it political.

Are you on Disability and Facebook?
Uncle Sam is watching.
Please watch what you post.

"The Trump administration has been quietly working on a proposal to use social media like Facebook and Twitter to help identify people who claim Social Security Disability benefits without actually being disabled."

This concerns me.
Because our conditions waxes and wanes, good days vs bad days, we might be the types that would celebrate our little milestones.

It's bad enough the medical community disavows us. . .
this step taken by our corrent administration could view our milestones as being deceptive.

Say you finally have enough energy to walk your dog?
How would that be perceived to the uneducated of TBI's or any other health matter for that reason?

Or maybe finally be able to get outside and pick up sticks in your yard?

You know where I'm going with this.

We don't need the uneducated to view us with biased eyes.

Wow, we are now living under 1940s Germany

I absolutely knew this was going to happen, no privacy, people are going to be ratting on one another just like what happened in Germany years ago. Considering most already don't believe chronic lyme exists, including the Doctors, what do you think happens next? lol Considering now almost a million people come down with chronic lyme every year in the US. Most with chronic lyme can't hold down a full time job lol

There's people like this man who was diagnosed with MS then gets brought up on chargers because he's caught trying to run races for his health.

Question, if you have chronic lyme and you're battling this infection longterm for years with antibiotics and your Lyme Litereate Doctor recommends you to run and workout like this man was doing... But then the government sees you lifting weights and working out, what ya think happens?

Part of dealing with Chronic Lyme is feeling healthy, crashing, then feeling healthy crashing. Then some lyme patients reach that 70-80% plateau but still can't hold a full time job.

Ummm yeah, this is much worse than what any of you've explained, I hope many of you realize that. I think most of you wont realize until the hammer comes down on you and many other lyme patients.

I've read plenty of other posts throughout the years where some patients were worried about their neighbors ratting on them...

It's a big problem when people think you have an imaginary disease already isn't it? Imagine the egg shells lyme patients and people with other chronic disease will be walking on.

I'm not sure if any of you are aware of this, but automation is coming too... 40% of the workforce jobs will be cut.

I love the people who thought this guy was gonna go after fake media, vaccines, big pharma, opiod companies, and hollywood pedophiles.

The reality of the situation he's coming for you and every bit of leftover tax dollar he can get...

Imagine how many will commit suicide now?

If chronically ill patients thought you had no safety net now with very little healthcare coverage. I can't wait to see what's going to happen next with this, lol, everyday it's a new thing with this current presidency.

Yet everyone says silenced because no one's to offend each others political views on the forum, no talk of climate change because it's such a sensitive topic, some scientists suggest this is the root cause of spreading lyme and ticks... Remind you this is the current political group that doesn't believe in climate change... Just a coincidence?

Honestly, I think it's come to a point where lyme will become very political just like everything else has.

I wish best of luck to new and old lyme patients... Hope a cure pops up soon!

One more thing, I think with men lack a quality trait that women have, which is empathy, especially these male doctors. I hope the next election more women run and it looks like that'll be happening...

I know the lyme patients I know will be shaking in their boots after reading this...

And how will they track you? Easily, by IP address. Someone who is tech savy from the government, could read what you write on a lyme forum, track your IP all the way back to your instagram, facebook, youtube, or twitter page.

Even your Lyme Groups... lol

Anyone little worried?
