You know, you know, but you know you never know. You know, you know, but you know you never know.
For those of you who understand music, it goes like this:
E-E, E-F, E-E-E-D-D-D-D D-D, D-E, D-D-D-C-C-C-C
There's more lines - I forgot them, I'll try not to be a fool again tomorrow and forget them, then I'll finish the lyrics.

If you scroll down to the video, it gives you a little feeling of what it's like to join in this madcap adventure with several hundred folks let out of the funny farm for just this one day for a traipse all over downtown SF, with police escort!!
My favorite chant is: "No more chanting!"

Ok, I got the rest of the song - I listened real hard for it this time -
You know, you know, but you know you never know, You know, you know, but you know you never know. You know, you know, but you know you never know, YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW, BUT YOU KNOW YOU NEVER KNOW!!!
Here are the notes:
E-E, E-F, E-E-E-D-D-D-D, D-D, D-E, D-D-D-C-C-C-C. E-E, E-F, E-E-E-D-D-D-D, (THEN SHOUT THE LAST LINE!!!)
Repeat several times.
There - I wrote it all down so I won't forget it.

Oh, and I took a poll of everyone watching the parade. I went up to onlookers and asked whether we were in Oakland or Berkeley. About half told me we were in San Francisco (to whom I replied, Oh thank you!), some voted for Oakland while others voted for Berkeley.
And then there were the real oddballs who told me we were in Omaha (Oh, Kansas?), we were in heaven (I'll take that one), and that we were in stitches, whatever that means, maybe an outdoor sewing store.
