Can anyone give me some positive outcomes on this disease? My anxiety is rampant, I'm having nightmares. I'm hurting the ppl I love because I truly do not think I'll get out of this. Mentally and physically drained. On 3 antibiotics and 1 antiviral for about 5 weeks now and seeing a LLMD. Looking ahead terrifies me.

I'm sorry you're struggling right now, but you will be ok and you will get better. I had Lyme for most of my life before I was finally diagnosed by my Lyme Disease Specialist and she got me better.
I was soooo sick and had trouble functioning before. I used to be in constant severe pain, I had heart symptoms, neurological symptoms, etc etc. Life is so good now and I feel great. I totally empathize with you and understand how hard this is. Be patient - healing doesn't happen overnight, it does take time. Be gentle and kind to yourself.
I very highly recommend going to a therapist to have support during this time. I also love the Bach Flower Remedies. They are for emotional healing, so they can help with anxiety and nightmares.
You are not alone and you will get better. You are seeing a LLMD, so you are in the best hands. You are doing everything right. It just takes time. Healing is a journey and it can be a slow process.

Amen to what MissVictoria wrote!
I had a very rough time of it with Lyme disease, but here I am, free of most of it, and managing my life pretty well. It took time and patience and grit as well as a doctor who believed in me.
Just hang in there. Apologize to people if you can and tell them it was the disease talking or acting, not you. I did and it helped.

I think you can get out of it as long as you are finding treatment that will work for you. You need to have patience - it takes some time to treat - this is a marathon, not a sprint.
Every "bingo" helps - for me, it's been incremental, finding what I respond to.
Currently something very simple - I take capsules of turmeric each day and it takes down inflammational pain in joints and muscles.
I also drink mangosteen juice to stop any Lyme eye symptoms.
If you want to discuss any of your symptoms, we can comment on what we do for them. But it also sounds like you're under the care of an LLMD, and that's a good thing.
