Here's who is in charge:

"Anthony S. Fauci, M.D., director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases,

and Robert H. Carter, M.D., director of the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases,

both part of the NIH, are available to comment on the strategic plan."

Well, they still say a single dose of doxycycline with 72 hours of the bite kills Lyme. Can't believe they still believe that.

The outline of the plan makes sense and they actually say that antibody tests are often inaccurate. We know that but MD's often don't.

Will have to go back and reread.

Don't overlook this 26 page document, which can be found by clicking on the link under the sub-heading "Materials" within the shorter press release which Ann-OH linked to. (I'm reposting this additional link here for your convenience.)

https://www.niaid.nih.gov/sites/default/files/NIH-Strategic-Plan-Tickborne-Disease-Research-2019.pdf

To be honest, I haven't had time yet to read it carefully, but just a cursory glance at it is very encouraging. That's why I'm posting this second link now in hopes that others will find time to read and digest it before I can do so.
