It's time to be thankful for the movement that we can do. So, tell us about what you are doing for exercise:

Are you raking, doing laundry, baking pies, eating those pies? [Big Grin]

I drove the hour to my parents. My brother and I got out their Xmas decorations and set them up. A little early but they have trouble doing such tasks at their age.

Went to exercise room at retirement center and did my balance exercises. Did my shoulder exercises before I drove over.
Have a blessed week! [hi]

We did the usual two services at church. The preacher preached, the choir sang, we packaged up all the food for the six families we are helping.

They are really going to be loaded up with goodies!! We also give them a gift certificate for whatever meat or other food they would like to buy.

Other than that, I did nothing today. LOL.

I may go start on the OCC Christmas ornaments I want to make for my team members.

OH .. I did some exercises for my shoulders. I need more training on that. I will see my PT tomorrow for shoulder number 2.

I walked about 3.5 miles tonight. It felt very good, and the temp was down in the mid 60's so I got to wear a sweatshirt [Smile] .

It's been over two weeks since taking my last dose of Antabuse, and while my herx has almost completely settled down, I think I am going to wait til the end of this week to resume.

My body could use the break, and when I start again I will do something less than the 100mg's eod that floored me.

I am now almost 3 months into treatment, although I have had to stop for two weeks on two different occasions. I know that I won't be cured with even another 3 months, so I have accepted that I will most likely need at least another 6 months, and maybe more. No matter what, I am going to try to force myself to be the turtle and not the rabbit.

This drug is so new to Lyme that nobody right now knows the optimum dose, so I am not going to worry about increasing as long as I feel I am getting better. Dr. C told me once that he had several patients get well by only taking very, very small amounts of Flagyl for a long period of time. Maybe the same will be true for this drug.

I also know that I have been overdoing the exercising, and have cut way back on that. I am not going to exercise more than eod, as Dr. B stated in his guidelines, and when my body feels like it needs more rest I will do that. Thank you again for the link you posted, hiker. It forced me to realize I was doing too much.

NLIF--Sounds like you are taking the wise course of action.

I took the day off from all exercise to spend with my brother and sister-in-law. They are going out tonight with friends, so I drove the hour back to my home. They head out to IN and then back to GA tomorrow early.

Gassed up the car and ran a few errands.

Take your time, FL! Slow and steady wins the race!! Wise words from my LLMD!

Hiker .. Glad you got to see your brother and sister in law!

I went to PT this morning for my shoulder, then to traction on my back this afternoon.

I managed to get some thank-yous out to some OCC helpers. Now I'm making some ornaments for them.

I think I have an "empty" day tomorrow, but I'm sure I will fill it somehow! Maybe I can get all the ornaments done.

LP is doing OK .. but very busy with some remodeling. She also is battling bronchitis.

AK is still in Japan!

I did my shoulder exercises this morning.

I went to balance therapy this afternoon for my re-evaluation. She was impressed with my strength progress but I still need a lot of work with balance especially changing surfaces and in high stimuli areas with noise and visual stimuli.

So I will go 3 more weeks and get re-evaluated again.

I went to the chiropractor.

I thought about driving the hour to my folks today since forecast for tomorrow is 65 mph winds. But it is now getting dark and I am not packed. It is rainy and I hate driving alone in the dark plus the rain.

So, will wait until Thursday morning.

I did my shoulder exercises this morning and my balance exercises this afternoon.

Fought the high winds just to get to the mailbox. Not sure where my solar lights ended up. LOL But at least the rain stopped and it isn't snowing.

Wrote a ton of Christmas cards. I am old fashioned and still send them out. Now my shoulder really hurts. Hard to believe writing uses the shoulder but it does.

Happy Thanksgiving. I am at my folk’s retirement center.

Dinner was good but mom and I had to pass on the pie due to our celiac disease. Am treating myself to a cup of hot dark chocolate.

I did my balance exercises in the exercise room here. I am sure the elderly women who were going to town on the fitness machines wondered what I was doing.

We will have cheese, shrimp, dates and nuts for dinner. Perhaps I will indulge in a glass of wine with my dad.

Staying overnight and heading back to my home tomorrow. About 70 miles.

Hiker .. For years, my shoulder would kill me after I would do all the Christmas cards. I've done letters for years, but just addressing all of the cards does me in.

I began doing them in calligraphy and it was actually easier on my shoulder. Go figure.

We'll see how I do this year.

Hubby and I went at 11:30 to eat at the restaurant where he plays sometimes. They have really great food and had a HUGE spread. Neither one of us really over-ate.

So then my friend picked me up (hubby didn't want to go) and took me to her town about an hour and a half away.

Her husband's friend (he and his friend are both from Kenya) was there too and she has a daughter who is 9. We had a VERY huge spread of food, complete with cheesecake.

Then we played SkipBo and then a game of "Life" to make the daughter happy. After that, she took me home. I got home about 10:30.

Not sure what I will do tomorrow. If I can get hubby to get my Christmas stuff out of the garage, I will put up the stuff. I need to put lights on the balcony this year. I had to skip last year with all the problems going on.

So .. I hope everyone had a GREAT thanksgiving!!

I way overdid it today and it is only midafternoon.

Drove home from my folks this morning and went grocery shopping.

Did my shoulder and my balance exercises.

Put up a few Christmas decorations and will finish another day.

Filled my bird feeders.

I am running a load of laundry downstairs. Will have to put clean sheets on my bed when they are dry if I want to go to bed tonight. 🙃

Definitely am relaxing tonight. For the average person I know this is not a lot to do in one day but for me, it is.

AK sent a text on WhatsApp with a picture. Looks like she and her mom are having a blast!

Foggy rainy day, so I livened it up with Christmas music (I love instrumental music and piano music along with jazz for Christmas). Put up the rest of my Christmas decorations.

I did my shoulder exercises and balance exercises.

I did one load of laundry. I have more laundry than usual this week due to having to dress up several times around Thanksgiving. One more load tomorrow.

I watched my beloved Illini play an awful football game and get creamed by Northwestern.

Hallmark chick flick tonight. [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

Hiker .. Hope you will be OK after doing too much!!

We went to church this morning and helped decorate for Christmas. It was fun! We had a good group and it didn't take very long.

Hubby was going to go for a ride (maybe the last of the winter) with his friend. His friends bike wouldn't start, so hubby went on a ride until it got too windy.

I went to the store for a few things, then took a nap for awhile.

Was trying to watch "It's a Wonderful Life" but someone called. I taped the rest of it. I rarely have ever watched it from start to finish!!

Tomorrow will be much colder, but then mild for most of the week.
