There is state law requiring any one on opiat pain med. to go to the pain doctor every month. To get prescription on paper to take to the drug store for the pain med.. So i have to sit in a waiting room with lots of other high risk for the corona virus people. Please contact your ohio senators and ask that for the duration of the corona crisis, the doctor can call in the prescription.https://www.ohiosenate.gov/ Just pick any of them. MADDOG

I will do that, Maddog. Here is where people can find their own state senator and e-mail her/him. https://www.ohiosenate.gov/senators Q. for everybody: Are doctors telecommunicating (Skype or FaceTime or such)where they can visually examine patients allowed to prescribe? -------------------- Ann-OH

Just so Maddog and all Ohioans know, here's the reply I got after writing to my Ohio State Senator. I split it up for easier reading. "Thank you for reaching out to Senator Dolan. Gov. Governor DeWine announced on March 19 an executive order that will expand access to medical and behavioral health services using telehealth so that patients do not have to go into their doctor physically. Patients don't need to have an existing relationship with a health care professional under this order. Providers can use telemedicine in place of in-person visits, without enforcement from the State Medical Board of Ohio. This includes prescribing controlled substances, prescribing chronic pain, pain management and office-based treatment for opioid addiction Thank you again for reaching out and please let me know if you have further questions." -------------------- Ann-OH
