well you know about the barnes & noble fiasco.

egads, all i did was ask for a romance author and this girl says "oh you want the porno and erotic section" real loud, in front of the entire line. i was soooo embarassed.

so today (ok, i'm on a roll here), i go to get our license tags renewed at tom thumb. i give her the paperwork and my insurance papers and say i want to renew our license plates. she says "what, we don't do license plates here." i said "oh sorry, i mean tags" and she says "well why didn't you say so".

ggrr, off to a bad start..

so she looks at the insurance and says i can't find the vin numbers, and i need those. i said look "that's the policy and expiration date and it should be there". so she finds it, and then says oh ok that will be 59.50 so i write the check out to tom thumb page which it used to be called and she takes it and says very snottily "well you made it out wrong, who's tom thumb page", and i said this store used to be called that, i'll write another check.

so she says no you don't need to, just cross it out. so i hand her the check and take the paperwork and she says "now wait a minute, i need to verify your driver's license", so i get the license out and hand it to her. she takes 5 minutes reading every detail on that license.

by this time i was about to boil over, i just take it and leave.

she was so rude and i was getting mad, cause i have a short fuse lately.

what in the world has happened to customer service?

i do have to say our walmart is great but these other stores SUCK....
