For some weeks I and others researching topics of interest to the Lyme community have been subject to sustained interference in our private email, land and cellphone communications , and other forms of harassment. I have for some time written publicly that Lyme disease is a biowarfare issue, and have provided substantial evidence to support this, though this has been constantly denied by the US federal health agencies. Most of the others that I work with share this belief, though not all have written about it publicly.
I have had indications of interference in my communications before, but never at the intensity with which it is happening now. As far as I can see, it is the fact that I have been researching the topic of darkfield microscopy and alternative culture mediums as a tool for diagnosis, as well its relation to Lyme as one cause of ME/CFS, that has caused myself and people I work with to be subjected for this incredible level of harassment. I am therefore now handing over the logs of my firewall to members of Parliament, of the Lyme community, the media and many others. if any bona fide Lyme patient or doctor wants a hard copy, please contact me by email.
Below is the firewall log which detected the hacking activity against my computer. Two of the entries, when traced in the publicly available WhoIs register, reveal that the source of the problem is the US Department of Defense, and specifically, the US Navy.
In order to accomplish this, the US Navy has illegally interfered not only with the private communications of myself and others in the UK , the US and other countries, but has also had unlawful access to the technology of several major companies on foreign soil. It is not yet clear to me whether the US Navy was granted permission to interfere with our communications by the well-known companies concerned, which include British Telecom, several nationally or internationally known mobile phone service providers, a Europe-wide internet provider, AoL, and many others, or whether they did this covertly. I will be making efforts to find out.

Sorry, of course the message does not make much sense until you read this. Then you can see it really is the Navy. I wonder how many people are being affected by this? Is anyone here having computer problems that are suspicious? Has anyone found of the number below in their firewall logs?

ps If anyone in the Lyme movement believes they have been hacked as a result of their research/ medical practice/activism, please get in touch with me. However, as it appears my communications are STILL being interfered with and monitored by the US Navy, I suggest that before you contact me, you disconnect your internet connection, save your firewall logs on both electronic and paper media, and scan them for Navy or DoD IP numbers.
Incredible as it seems, if you happen to have had the free ZoneAlarm firewall installed, you may well have caught the US Navy in the act.
If you suspect you are being hacked, you could try installing it now if you did not before. However, I imagine the Navy IT guys will have patched the hole by now. Unless they are even stupider than they have been so far.
This entire matter has now been reported to the human rights organisation Amnesty International, as well as the office of the Member of Parliament Dr Ian Gibson, among others.
I am one of those computer illiterate people who don't even know if they have a firewall on their computer -- do have a virus program though. Even remember to run it sometimes.
I think I'll just continue to operate in ignorance of who (if anyone) is spying on me.
If hubby ever recovers enough so I can leave him alone for more than 1 or 2 hours at a time, then it will be time to make some changes.
We have both come to the conclusion that there is lots of Lyme activism needed, but it does take time and energy that neither of us really has right now.

Imagine an enemy of the US getting a scam hacking or email from a disused Navy IP address, what would happen then?
It's like saying, oh this old run-down nuclear power plant isn't being used anymore, let's leave it for any old terrorist to ransack.
I believe that this lady, and others who have now been alerted to look in their firewall logs, have found a range of hackers from big pharnaceutical companies too.

Yes, it is ridiculous. In 1998 the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society in Bath, England was hacked by the US Navy. They made a formal complaint about it.
What's going on is diabolical. One activist in the UK had a car drive straight at her, and Lymerayja had her children threatened on the internet by someone calling themselves "Kathleen McSweegan"???.
