My calves have been mildly, intermittently twitching for the past 3 months. It isn't bad. I can usually ignore it. But so far, nothing has stopped this.
I occasionally get arm, buttocks, or back muscle twitching, but very rarely.
I know this can be a lyme and / or Bart symptom. I already do tons of magnesium (8 Mag Tab SR's / day).
For those of you who have had this, particularly of the calves, what made it go away permanently?

mine seemed to lessen with magnesium and b6 (which is needed in order to absorb the mag) but i have a theory ...
The muscle twitches come from nerve damage cause by the lyme. But nerves heal very slowly .. so i think that such a symptom could easily persist for a while after the lyme is actually doing any damage.

magnesium helps with our son's. It also helped me when I was pregnant when I got leg cramps in the middle of the night.
