I was on synthetic medication for my cortisol levels but it caused me to gain weight and have excessive thirst, so my LLMD is taking me off it. Not sure what he'll replace it with, though, as I still need support for my adrenal glands.

With adrenal insufficiency is it common to have a constant sour/metallic taste in you mouth? It gets worse when feeling anxious and is followed by extreme exhaustion.

Samni-I have not had any saliva test done only blood work which I've read isnt the best way to test. Do you need a script for this or can you do it yourself? buy a kit or something
Metallic-Is that why the metallic name? LOL I dont notice any weird tastes in my mouth so that's good I guess, but I did do some of the home tests that Keebler and CD 57 my eyes totally fluctuated from small to big and I definitely have light sensativity.
I'm guess I need adernal support. What are you guys taking? just so I have some ideas?
