Few weeks? I hope you've been into the doctors or at least called them.

Have they ruled out pneumonia and strep? If it's bacterial, all the chicken soup and sleep won't make you better. If it's strep and it goes away on its own, it can hide elsewhere in your body and wreak havoc.

Not to scare you, but please call your doctor.

There was a bad bug that went around here this fall that sounds similar. It lasted with normal, healthy people a week of feeling bad, and up to about a month of cough.

But if you've had all the symptoms for a few weeks, I'd at least tell your LLMD to see what he thinks.

I agree with six; there has been a bad virus/bronchitis/flu around here too. My son has seen the doc twice already, and I know others who have had the same thing. It has been lasting a month or more here too.

I would see a doctor, though, just to be on the safe side.
