I've seen people on here saying they've been sick for years. But i only started feeling flu-like symptoms since the end of Dec & early Jan.. Then i started getting worse in the middle of Jan... Is it possible to be in late stage so quick?

At 8 weeks my daughter was considered to be in the early disseminated stage. She treated for almost 7 months with abx and is doing much better now.

Since you caught it early, it may be easier to treat even if you have late stage symptoms.

I don't mean to be Debbie Downer, but I had all late stage symptoms as well...my first LLMD said that I had stage 3 advanced lyme disease. I saw him 6 months after my symptoms began.

I have been treating for 11 months and not seen much improvement.

It is a marathon...not a sprint. Patience is a virtue...

My daughter only had symptoms for 7 weeks before our LLMD appt and we are still treating over 2 years later. She is much better but has a ways to go yet.

This disease is so complex and it is not a one size fits all type of treatment. You need a top notch LLMD, educate yourself and lots of prayers.

Our doctor basically said there is no rhyme or reason as to why some people recover more quickly than others.

Some people who have been sick for quite a while can recover very quickly.
