Started back on Doxy and getting crazy Muscle Twitching Arms eyeballs etc..

im figuring its die off.

it got much worse when upped my dose

wondering if I should hold back for a few days before ramping up to the full dose

I feel the twitching is from Die off which is a good thing but just curious on if you would press on hard or ease up

Paul

I would ramp up slowly...just my opinion...I noticed in my daughter that becoming toxic from die-off could cause her not to tolerate ANY protocol...give your body a chance to rid itself of the die-off seems to be profitable to maintaining a balance between crash and burning verses steady as she goes.

Hey Paul
i could say just plow through don't be a wimp but that would be a fools advise.

no one here can really relate to how you feel or what you can stand.

best to just listen to your body and do what your body is telling you what you can handle and if you need to ease up

good luck

I would try to plow through as well. As one of the LLMD's said at the 2010 ILADS conference...a "speedbump" is okay...just don't let it turn into a guardrail.

Bite date ?

5/10 dx'd, after 3 months numerous test and doctors

IgM Igenex +/CDC +

I'm sure you're aware of this, but have you tried supplementing magnesium?

My muscle twitches went away as soon as I started taking it.

I'm also a fan of Toxin AbsorbMax, my doctor has me taking four capsules each night. (away from any other supplements or abx)

Hi Paul.

Just curious, I know you've mentioned before that you were on Minocycline. Now that you are taking Doxy, do you see a difference?

Which one do you think is doing more?

Thanks and I got some twiching in my face with Mino but I'm doing small dosses and building it up.

Hey Paul

I am having horrible neuro effect from Rifamprin after only 2 pills with a day in between. My LLMD stopped it asap and is very concerned. We though I had a stroke last night, could not talke, sleep and my nerves in body head to toe are shaking.

MY eyes would stop twitching or fluttering. He said a herx like that on your nerves is bad and can do permanent damage. He makes me take a 72 hour break and slowly go back on...every other day for a week, then one a day for a week and gradually up.

--------------------
Diagnosed with chronic neuro lyme 12/10 after 30 years of vertigo.2 tick bites in 3 yrs from upstate NY. Was on omincef for nine mths..zith and rifampin stopped.Remission~ All the pain and symptoms are back and I am not treating now with biaxin.

I get the feeling doxy and mino are very similar

but I did mino for 5 months and had some liver issues

so I am challenging lyme with some doxy right now... I have been on nothing but herbals for 3 months before kicking back in with some doxy...

the twitching is better today but I am about to do a dose so we shall see...

Magnesium did nothing for me when I tried in the past.

Paul
