Topic: Texas Bill Passes Regarding Chronic Lyme Treatment
Member # 26091
Thought I would post this link. It's a very brief summary of how/why this bill made it through the Texas legislature.
It is one step forward, albeit a small one, in gaining recognition for chronic/late stage lyme.
Of course, the only reason the bill made it as far as it did was because someone in government was directly affected by Lyme & co. so no suprise there.
I truly believe as some on here posted previously, that the ONLY way we can get a foothold is for more government officials or their families to contract this nasty disease.
Please realize that I wouldn't wish this mess on anyone but sadly, this is what it's going to take.
Perhaps a few tick bites at CDC headquarters would change some minds.
