Hi Everyone: I am just wanting to see if anyone else out there has gotten bad neck/shoulder/trap muscle pain with bart treatment.
I was put on levaquin about 6 weeks ago and boy was this kicked up... I thought my foot pain was bad until this reared its head.
I did find a pillow that has helped immensely- foam pillow that cradles your head. Anyone that wants to know more- pm me.
Thanks-

I am still struggling with severe neck pain.. It was getting okay until a week ago. Now it feels like I pulled a muscle in my neck and radiates down my right arm. Not sure what is up with that, but I am taking my herbs and trying to ease the pain a bit. Going for accupuncture next.
I will have to look into getting a foam pillow when I get back to BC.

My worst lingering symptom is stiff neck, upper back, trapezius pain. Like a pulled muscle. Not from Bart though.
After 8 months of ABX and counting, it finally got better....and I went for accupuncture (two treatments so far) to get over the hump. It really helped. I was pain free for a lovely few weeks.
But just this morning when I woke up, the pain had returned full force. So depressing !!! Maybe I just slept wrong and it will ease up as the day goes on.
Terrible symptom to say the least. It's like the buggers have found a home in my neck and trap muscles!!

My neck pain gets really bad at times. I thought it was related to the lyme but I am being treated for bart too. Who knows.
I have one of those neck pillows that you heat up in the microwave. I use it quite often. Seems to help. I also feel better after an adjustment from my chiro.

Thank you everyone for your feedback. The memory foam pillow has helped so much... I think of the day when we won't be dealing with this anymore... thanks again!
