I know in "The Lyme Disease Solution" Dr. S states you shouldn't take ALA or Vit E with Mepron as they are Antioxidants and work against the pr0-oxidant effects of Mepron.
Are there any other supplements you can't take with Mepron or Malarone? Milk Thistle? NAC?
I want to support my liver as much as possible if I go on these drugs. Thanks.

You can't take milk thistle with Mepron. My llmd recommended I replace it with burdock.
However, she said I could take ALA and vitamin D3, and have done so my entire treatment, and I am close to being completely better. Those are two supplements that have made a huge difference in my recovery.

All the LLMD's agree not to take Co Q10 with Mepron. Dr. S is the only one I know of that says not to take ALA which is too bad because it is a great anti-oxidant/detoxer of the liver.
