Husbands finger nails appear to be separating from skin. Both thumbs and index fingers look like the finger nail is dying. Is this die off or is the medicine causing this? He is taking doxy/zith & malarone/artemisinin. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Yes, Wayne that was disturbing. But very informative, thank you. Thanks Lymetoo. At the rate of the fungus?? he won't have any thumbnails by weekend. He is taking "Raw" probiotics at 50 bil. At least two capsules a day. Is this enough?

Don't know if this would relate to what you're discussing - I find that my nails go hard - ie, remineralize - from drinking the Ultra mangosteen, which has the Trace Minerals 70 minerals added to it.
Trace Minerals has a product called Ultra Body Toddy that has all the minerals in it. And I guess, in principle, I'm referring to anything liquid that contains a vast number of minerals in it.
Am wondering whether taking a really good minerals product would help your nails.

I don't know about the minerals. Wow Lymetoo that's is a lot. I will do research on the probiotics out there at a higher dosage. Asked LLMD about it and response was "not sure, maybe go see dermatologist or primary care doctor". What's up with that? Shouldn't they be a bit more concerned?

I have had this for many years - my nails aren't yellow or thick, they peel up. I went to a dermatologist who gave me Penlac (a nail polish with something in it to kill fungus) which helps along with keeping my hands dry. Water makes the problem much worse.
