I'm supposed to start Cryptolepis and I forgot to ask my doctor, should I take it with food?
Is it OK to start at the full dose? I was told to take 60drops TID. Sound right?
Did you have any symptom flares when starting this herb? How long did it take for you to notice any improvements?
Thanks!

It's strong.
Personally i don't take cryptolepis except as a backup if nothing else works.
I'm a little worried about an Oxford 2003 scientific study i read that said it is "profoundly cytotoxic" and could be considered for use as a cancer drug. How come no one else is worried? As far as i know, no one else mentions this. Maybe i didn't understand the scientific language well enough.
Have you tried everything else first?
Personally, i'm able to suppress my Babesia symptoms by using herbs and rife:
Artemisinin and Artemisia annua as a back-up if i need them(i don't)
Rife frequencies for Babs such as 76, 570, and 1584.

I didn't notice much of a difference. I don't know if I was at a high enough dose.

Thank you both.
I need something strong to help me fight off Babesia. I've been struggling with this for too long.
I was not aware of it's potent cytotoxic effect. That's something I may have to look into more thoroughly.

I did not notice any difference from taking it either, but everyone is different.

I'm taking it. I think it helps. It seems like a really strong herb, which I like. The Buhner protocol website might have more info and possibly success stories.

My body can only handle very small amounts of this herb.
I take one to three drops a day.
We are each so different.
Perhaps you could start slowly and work up to what feels right for you.
May you be well and at peace ~

It looks like Buhner is recommending 1tsp 2-3x per day (according to the Planet Thrive website).
I started taking it yesterday. Wow is it bitter tasting! I'll try the 60drops as my doctor recommended and work up from there after awhile.
