It will save the moderators some time deleting and combining duplicate threads.
To EDIT something you wrote in a post, just click on the "pencil/pad" icon next to the date. Go in and change whatever you need to, then click "edit post."
To DELETE a duplicate thread, go in to the "pencil/pad" icon and look in the upper left hand corner. It says "delete post?" Check the box and then click "edit post."
It's THAT easy!! Now you know!! No need to make a separate reply to explain what you MEANT to say .. just EDIT.
BE PATIENT WHEN POSTING .. ALLOWING TIME FOR THE ITEM TO GO THROUGH.

Thanks for the feedback, Philly! At least we can help everyone figure this out! It's so simple and would be great if we all learn how the tools work here!

Click on the "" marks next to the date of the post you want to quote.
To remove the BOLD, delete at least one of the "QB's" .. To minimize the quotation, delete the QB at the top of the quote and the one at the end of the quote.
It hurts some peoples' eyes to see a huge block of print in bold. Sometimes it's a good idea to leave a short quote in bold...your choice.
---
To put something in BOLD, place a [b] at the beginning of the word or words to be placed in bold, then put a [/.b] at the end of the word or words. Do NOT put the period as above. I had to do that to keep the codes from being hidden.

When someone posts 3 identical THREADS, things get very confusing on this board!

- UPDATING THE THREAD can also be done via the EDIT function.
If you have a thread that needs an update, you can just EDIT THE HEADING and add new detail in a new post at that continuing thread.
That makes it easier to follow the time-line and what's previously been discussed, especially for those new to the topic. -
