I was wondering if anyone has had a body scan using gallium and did you get good results. I had never even heard of this test until last week.

Gallium is apparently supposed to attach to the white blood cells and on the scan they can see where their are problems by the concentration of the white blood cells.

So i am wondering how long it stays attached the the cells and if there is anything to do to speed up getting rid of it.

Thanks and regards

Vitamin C may help to get rid of it. Did you have a CT scan?

yes, on the monday they did a full body ct scan with contrast and when that was finished they gave me a shot of gallium and i went back on the wednesday for another full body ct scan.

i ended antibiotic treatment in november in the spring my energy started to come back and has be consistently very good but the body pain and sweats and chills are terrible.

my llmd was shut down by medical board hence no more antibiotics so have just seen a regular internal medicine doctor who if nothing else is leaving no stone unturned.

2 ct scans
ultrasound
72 hour heart monitoring
appointments for neuro, id doctor and of course reume doctor. he can't send me to physco doc as i already have one lol.

it is going to be interesting to see if they will talk lyme.

i did start taking some extra c yesterday but since the gallium i have felt a lot worse more chills sweats and pains. i have googled gallium but it dose not say anything about how long it stays in the system.

thank for the input.
