Yes, I had a positive test. I have tried Flagyl twice, Alinia and Tinidazole. I just cant get it to go away.
I had it last year also and took 7 days of flagyl and that cleared it up. Then got it again and can't get rid of it..ugh!!

Giardia is a parasite and is treated as such. Read some of the Klinghardt publications - parasite treatment is a must if you suspect Lyme. They should be treated early, not as an afterthought. Babesia is a parasite/protozoa and everything else is easier to eliminate once the parasites tiny, medium or large have been dealt with. If not, all the strange symptoms will not go away.
Even if the word sounds nasty and "third-worldly", most of us carry them around, some more than others, some tiny or huge. Dr. K. said to me years ago "if you have eaten in a restaurant", you have some. Well, what don't we touch when we go outside of our own clean house, even if we have washed our lettuce thoroughly or not been kissed by out dog or cat? If you treat, all family members and pets have to be treated. That is a must.
I have posted and offered the protocol many times. Maybe you want to read some of the threads talking about these visitors.
Take care.

I have dealt with stomach problems, off and on, for a couple of years.
I was never tested for giardia until last week. A holistic clinic tested me through some sort of silver plates...don't know the name. She got everything else correct, so I assume this diagnosis is also correct. LLMD never tested me for giardia.
