Yes, could be, I've had that as a symptom when I was badly sick and not treating, and had as a herx when treating. Well, except it was never as bad as feeling like a million ants, just some here and there. I had lots and lots of itchiness as well.

Call your LLMD, if available. Or your PCP. Some kind of doctor needs to be consulted ASAP in case this is an allergy to a medicine.

Have your list of Rx (and supplements) with dose detail next to the phone. Start with any that are brand new.

Any sulfa drugs? Any Rx or food allergies, EVER?

While waiting for a callback:

Assess contact to any new fabrics, sprays, products, foods, etc.

Do not take anything that might be suspect (which is just about everything you are on).

What should help in the meantime:

Benadryl

a non-fish, non-nut omega oil (as either nuts or fish could cause an allergy right now).

Tincture or tea of Milky Oat Seed might help calm down the reaction, whatever it is.

Stinging Nettle capsules or tea might help, too.

A castor oil pack to your liver might help.

Drink water lots of water & eat lots of colorful veggies for the fiber and antioxidants.

I would avoid foods that can cause allergies: nuts, eggs, chicken, fish, soy, dairy, corn wheat . . . until you have this figured out.

I have no idea it happened out of the blue last night.

I am on
Bicillan injections
Plaquenil
Nystatin
Difulcan
Zithromax
Malarone
Synthroid
Cytomel
LDN.

I have no rash just itching and tingaling and everywhere. MY LLMD is gone for the weekend.

I have been on everything for awhile besides the zith but I haveb beenon that for 4 days.

No probiotics? Our bodies really need probiotics - just timed away from all other Rx or supplements. Even if on antifungals, this could be yeast related and illuminate the need for probiotics.

What is your LIVER SUPPORT (Milk Thistle or the like)? If none, it well could be an overwhelmed liver or

could be allergy to any one of the Rx, even after a while. Of course, the zith would be more likely since new.

Any yard or garden spraying going on around you?

Any new magazines or newspapers delivered? If so, get them out of the house (to avoid the chemicals in the ink & paper).

I still think you need to just stop everything other than a mild support listing in my other post.

I also still think you need to talk to a doctor. Of course, most other doctors would just be blown away by the complexity of this - so there's the chance they'd tell you to stop everything for a day or two and take Benadryl.

If you have ANY trouble breathing - or muscle spasms, you may need to go to the E.R. Allergies can attack breathing so just be aware of that.

I had the same thing and I did have that even after the treatment in germany with bionic.

The only thing that reduced it was biaxin plaquinil and Mepron .Than I added cryptolepsis.

I still have them .never got rid of it complelty.

But reduced enough to feel it here and there. The other treatment with herbs and antibiotics never got rid of it.It will start comming back crawling in my skin and running towards my head.NEUROLYME ????

"out of control" - translates to me, the need for immediate medical consult.

Do you have BENADRYL? If not, can you have someone bring you some ASAP?

Do you have someone to drive you to URGENT CARE if the need becomes apparent? If alone, can a friend come and stay with in and be ready to drive if needed?

ANYTHING can trigger this. Anything. Even if you've had it before.

Most likely: zith (as that was recently started -- and the lack of probiotics (?)

Anything that is intended to stimulate any system would be my second thought. Be sure to check your dose. If a new bottle, look at the tablets.

Go to the manufacturer's website for a photo of the tablets/capsules and compare. Take your time. Look for dose markings and be sure yours is identical to that in the mfr. photo.

Totally identical down to the slightest detail of sheen, etc.

So, while I can understand that you may not want to go to Urgent Care, is there ANYONE at your LLMD's office who can talk to you?

Would your PCP help?

Of course, mostly what they would do is tell you to stop everything - take Benadryl - and they may give a steroid shot (which can be life saving in an emergency but should be covered by antibiotics which might be the problem in the first place).

Call your city/town/village office and see if there was any spraying within 1/2 mile of your home yesterday.

Did you notice walking or driving by any one or anything spraying yesterday?

Did you drive through a car wash or have anything sprayed in your car?

Been around any new carpet or vinyl?

Have your personal care products changed?

[This may be the time to go totally scent-free, if not already.]

As this could be a porphryia reaction (a liver dysfunction that can become dangerous), be sure to get some of beta carotene-rich foods in you right now and keep them coming, even before bed. Orange veggies and leafy greens.

That can help stop a surge of dangerous porphyrins.

MAGNESIUM should help for a number of reasons, too. Mostly, you need to be sure your bowels can move and move often and well. If you are constipated at all, that can make this worse.

Again, LOTS of water.

I am going to stop everything for the rest of the day. Take some activated Charcoal. I guessi ts not "out of control" and see how I am tomorrow if its still this bad I will call my LLMD emergency contact number.

I think it might be a herx.

Or maybe I am devloping diabtes?

Do you have BENADRYL?

This kind of event is not typically the first way diabetes tries to communicate with us (so to speak).

Still, if you have a glucose meter, check. If a friend or relative has one, see if they can bring it buy for you (it's nice to offer to pay for the test strip, though, as each one costs a pretty penny).

Itching and tingling everywhere...the nerves are stimulated.

Did you take some Benedryl? What happened?
Stop meds until you figure it out.

Paresthesia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paresthesia

Paresthesia is a sensation of tingling, burning, pricking, or numbness of a person's skin with no apparent long-term physical effect.

There is a list of things on that page that may cause the problem.
Not much on treatments, though, which of course would depend on the cause.

Are you taking magnesium?
Low magnesium can cause paresthesia.

Could you be in withdrawal from something?

Numbing cream might help...try a lidocaine cream.

A-
Not necessarily. It means your system is on overdrive for any number of possible reasons.

Whatever the cause, benadryl can help to calm things down.

As you are not posting that you've been taking any liver support, my guess is that it's a herx or just way too much for your liver & kidneys to manage.

The skin is a major organ of detoxification. When the liver & kidneys can't keep up, the skin can erupt. And that can irritate the nerves, etc.

But, it's never really that simple.

I hope you do take some benadryl.

As for a bath in epsom salts, don't put in too much if your skin is irritated. Too much can make skin itch more. Better yet, perhaps a foot &/or hand soak.

An OATMEAL PASTE might work better. Oats are very soothing to irritated skin.

And only BARELY WARM water, NOT HOT. It can irritate the skin even more.

As you dry yourself from a bath or shower, just gently blot and and then air dry for bit before dressing. Do not rub your skin.

Yes, systemic yeast of various strains can do this.

"have pins and needles feeling all over my body."

I really think you need to see a doctor, now.

While I have some ideas about what may be causing this, I'm not at all medically trained. There are so many other things that could be unconnected to my or others' guesses here.

As it's a Friday evening, you probably have only so many hours that the URGENT CARE is open. After that, it would be the E.R. --

Good luck.
