I am browsing at some test results that I recently requested from 2009 and it shows that my B12 and Folate were both high.
Does anyone know what this could mean? Is it somehow related to MTHFR?

Hey tickled.
I read (more than once) that this could be because your body is not absorbing and utilizing these nutrients properly. Yes, related to MTHFR.

Tickled, how high are your b12 and folate levels?
It may be related to MTHFR.....a few of us on this board have high levels and also MTHFR......do a search for previous posts re high b12 and/MTHFR.

My folate result was ">24.0 (range 2.8-17.0)
My B12 was 980 (range 250-900)
So the question is what can be done about it? Does this also tie in to my leaky gut and malabsorption issues due to that? The doctor never mentioned it at the time and I wasn't aware of it till now.

On another note my ferritin was 26 (range 10-220).
What is the deal with ferritin. I thought it was a marker for hypercoagulation? Do I have that right?
