A local doc did some tests on me with Health Diagnostic Laboratory (for MTHFR, etc.) I'm not sure if its "the best" but it gave me some info that we needed. I called the lab last week asking if they knew what docs were best at treating MTHFR. They said they didn't know, but offered for me to have a free phone consult with one of the health coaches! (I'm set up for next Monday). I was impressed by this. You can also get free follow-up consults to monitor your progress.
Also, I just noticed Doctor's Data offers a methylation profile. Not sure how good it is. But you check check out their website and read for yourself and see if worth doing. Cost is $205. I'm thinking about it. My doc agreed to order test if I would like to have done.
Also, some people here on LN are going thru mthfr.net and ordering tests from that site. It is run by a doc, who then gives phone consults.
Good luck.

I got the basic test (2 most common mutations) done at LabCorp and my insurance covered it. I'm pretty sure my diagnosis to get it covered was hyperhomocysteinemia.
If you don't have insurance or your insurance doesn't cover it, I believe it costs about $150, but call LabCorp to make sure.
Interestingly, I was invited to participate in a study that paid for testing for 30+ MTHFR mutations through Pathway Genomics. I got the same results as the basic test. I don't know what the advantage is of getting the full profile.
Here's the Pathway Genomcs site. I did a brief search for the MTHFR test and cost, but couldn't find it quickly. You probably have to call or email. https://www.pathway.com/
