Hey Gang,

Haven't posted in a while ...partly due to work and partly because what else can you say after 3.5 years of treatment?...i still cannot get over the final hurdle of conquering anxiety, stamina/energy. for those new here ...please note i have gotten a lot better..so don't despair by reading how long i am treating...at this point my wall street job is as much a hinderance to good health as anything....but i have no finacial choice so on i go.

anywho..started condensed cowden in january and after ramping up to 30 drops and staying at the level for 10 days i stopped...i was herxing so bad i could not function at work. anxiety through the roof

fast forward ...work has calmed down so i took another crack and basiclaly the same thing occured.

This cowden stuff is new to my DR so its been hard to get a definitive answer as to whether to keep plugging away or back off ..and if i back off how far? do i want to get a reaction or do i want to get my toes as close to the line as possible and if so how do i do that?

anyone with experience? not ready to bale on this as clearly it is killing something...my Dr thinks its Bart.

as always thanks for your help.

Dave

I'm not as experienced as you. Started March 1.

I've backed down a couple of times and took it slow when I was going through stressful times.

I'm now up to 8 drops.

Did you ramp up at a regular rate, like two drops per week?

I spoke with my LLMDs nurse recently and she said take it slow and there's no need to herx.

Mostly, I'm getting strange rashes and paresthesias in my scalp. At first felt more energetic, but now tired. Headache is not as bad though and that's good.

Maybe you just need to back down to a lower dose and stay there a while?

Marz,

i have to tell you that i ramped up much more quickly than that as per Dr''s orders...i mean like increasing 1 drop a day up to 30...wondering if my doc is way off based on how you ramped up.

I'm only guessing that you probably went too fast.

Written instructions from LLMD only say increase from 1-30 drops and if she explained more I don't remember because my brain is always overloaded on my visits to her.

But her nurse, on the phone wanted to make sure I didn't go too fast. She said not to increase if you're feeling bad.

Hope someone else comes along with experience.

I'm wondering if not many people are being put on this and wondering why.

She was so enthused about this based on Eva Sapi's research.

Are you on doxy too alone with it?

Have you checked the Nutramedix site for a dosing schedule? There used to be a complete schedule posted on there to print out and check off for each day.

Here's some reading that might help:

Hope you feel better soon.

Yes,I would definitely follow the dosing schedule. It's there for a reason. After month 3 on the Cowden, I was about 75% better, but as I was building up to the 30 drop dose, I had some bad herxes. Cowden worked for me! Are you drinking the 3 qts of water per day? It will flush those toxins from your system.
