I get pain behind my right eye, in my teeth and in my right ear and jaw. You're not alone. I was incorrectly diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia three years ago and had surgery where they drilled through my skull to fix what they "thought" was a compression of my nerves. Well, there was no compression of my nerves. Terrible, terrible surgery which wasn't necessary:( After that I've never been the same...BUT will be some day!

probably herx. i remember years ago i thought my lyme dr. was going to have me commited when i told him my eye sockets hurt. i never even was aware of them before but they hurt and my chin and teeth too migrating also a pressure in the ears and banging in the neck....thankfully he said it was normal herx. you can tell by the duration if your teeth hurt and don't stop i'd go to the dentist, but if it's just comes and goes you can probably wait till next dental cleaning.

I get these symptoms too. From what I have gathered, it sounds like BArt. Treating Bart now, and it is a very strong infection, does not want to go away.

@ dsrtly for me it was bart..and lyme but bart was/is the culprit for my eye problems. why aren't you on meds? do you have lyme? not sure i understand the circumstances around your question.? if you are not diagnosed or treating lyme..and you have these problems i don't think asking people( other than drs.) is a good idea..you have to take care of yourself and get professional diagnosis if your eyes hurt.

What are you other symptoms? Pain in the teeth could be irritation of the vegas nerve. Protomyxzoa causes it too as well as headaches behind the eyes.

Thanks for everyone's concern. And for the person who sent me a PM I tried to respond but your box is full!
I had to stop because my liver enzymes were elevated. and I have trouble tolerating meds. I tried herbs last year and the ones for Bart made me herx 24/7 to the point every joint in my body was screaming in pain.
@Lindsay-you certainly are on a bart potocol along w/ Lyme. How are you doing generally?
@mahalo-so the muslce spasms are bart? How come they weren't bad until now? I mean what brought them out suddenly. I have foot pain a lot, some anxiety, sweats, fatigue too, lots of neuro stuff, head full of cotton, all that. Yes I also have Lyme.

@dsrtdly:what med or combo of meds made your liver enzymes go up? do you have heppatitis? when was that? your dr. should have monitored them and when they got below 100ish try you on something else..there's more than 1 way to skin a cat as my old dr. used to say.and yes yes yes..my spasmms began about 2 months after i was off abx. i had them everywhere..in my stomach even. then about 1 month later all of a sudden i couldn't barely walk or stand..it was like all the padding went out of my feet..then the progression..eyes, head flashing lights my spine buzzing, vibrating everywhere like a motor was turned on in my body..then i could no longer feel the sensation of my limbs being attached to my body..that was when i went back on (the wrong abx) the lyme dr. didn't realize it was bart so i was on ceftin which helped for a while then stopped. till i finally got the right diagnosis and the right meds. if you don't have happatitis why hasn't your dr. tried new meds? yes bart is in the head..eyes alot of anxiety..and i can't answer why the spasms all of a sudden..but for me it was stopping the meds....im praying 4 u.
