Just posting an update so I can look back at my Lyme road as well as to share with others.

I stopped taking ABX about 2 months ago. I was not 100% when I went off but my gut needed a break. My main sx where mile body pains and so esophagus issues / heart skips (since they seems related.

My gut was really bad. I had the runs for like 2 months straight. I think I also have some yeast issues. I really did not take care of my gut while on abx.

So I stopped abx and the first week was a but rough. Sx where stronger and I thought I would have to go right back on abx. But after about 2 weeks things got a lot better.

I try some anti parasite stuff but I don't think my gut was ready for it. I only did 3 weeks of it. After about 1 month my bowel movements got a lot better. The I when on a grain free, dairy free and bean free diet. I also stayed away from process sugar (although I am not 100% sugar free) and boy things got A LOT better. Like I am pretty much 100% most of the time.

My main issue right now is really the esophagus issues / heart skips. I actually when about 1 month with out them but then I broke the diet while some family stayed over for a few weeks. Now this week they have been back pretty badly so I am trying to get back to the diet.

I saw a new doctor to help me with my gut issues. She is running some test to see how bad my gut is.

I am somewhat concern. Not sure if this last issue is really my bad gut and I just need time to heal it or is it an active infection affecting the heart. I had a full cardio workup and it came back fine. Thoughts?

If you are having "heart skips," that makes me think you may be low in magnesium.

The body's cells need magnesium for all of the enzyme processes, and the liver uses it to make glutathione, to detoxify poisons.

I can't tell from your description exactly what your present abdominal symptoms are.
Reflux?
Esophageal spasms?
Loose stools?

I found that PepZin GI is really great for my stomach symptoms.
You can look for reviews of it at iHerb.com.

SeaCure is supposed to be good for intestinal problems, and has been recommended by LLMD's, which is how I heard about it, here at LymeNet.
I have not tried it, but it has excellent reviews at iHerb.

A family member of mine was rushed to hospital by ambulance for what they thought was a heart attack.

Turned out after a lot of testing that he had H. Pylori and his GI symptoms were making it feel like he was having a heart attack and trouble breathing.

I've also struggled with GI symptoms and H. Pylori and the gastritis and indigestion causes a whole bunch of symptoms that don't seem like they should be related to GI stuff but they are.

I had to go to the ER two weeks ago with a racing heart... all checked out and it was my GERD. Got really bad due to taking pain pills.

So the stomach can really do a number on your heart rate.. I think any pain can do that.
