OK, I've had a frontal headache (and some in the back and neck is getting stiff) and periods of dizziness for 6 days now - which infection/condition/environmental cause is likely the culprit?
I stopped all antibiotics 2 weeks ago, had a joint pain flare up, but that's getting better. The headache and dizziness are not however. It feels like someone is trying to blow up a balloon in there.
I've got some herbals on the way the Dr. wants me to try for lyme and bart (BB1 and BAR1 - anybody else use those?) - I sure hope it makes this go away!
I decided to stay home from work today out of fear of driving and to see if I can sleep some of the headache away... I remain skeptical of the herbal treatments, but I'll try them!

I had a SEVERE headache and SEVERE stiff neck almost every day for a year before starting the Cowden Protocol (an herbal protocol) at the direction of my LLMD (who I found through LymeNet. In the month that I have been on the herbs, I have now had several short periods with NO HEADACHES! Today (so far) is my fourth day in a row without a headache!

It could be babesia or protomyxzoa. They both cause headaches behind the eyes and dizziness. Protomyxzoa can also cause joint and muscle pain - in fact it causes rheumatoid arthritis (protomyxzoa rheumatica is the complete name).
Babesia pain for me was more in the large muscles of the buttocks, thighs and back. I got cramping. If you are sleeping well, it is probably babesia because PR causes insomnia.
Imetrex takes the headaches away for me irregardless which infection is causing them. Be sure to take it the second you feel the headache coming on - don't wait until it is full blown or it will be harder to get rid of it.

Well so far, taking a day off from work yesterday and sleeping for about 12 hours straight helped significantly. Still waiting for the new herbals to get here though, and I can already feel the pressure and dizziness creeping back.
Apparently I need to go into hibernation until the stuff arrives!
I did a round of treating babesia back in May, that was quite a turning point for me. Perhaps we didn't get all of it though and its creeping back?
Interesting about the protomyxzoa - I have had periods of insomnia, but it hasn't been too bad lately - I've been too tired for that! I was thinking the poor sleep was related to the bartonella in the past.
