My eyes are increasingly red these days.
What do people take for this? Antibiotic eye drops?
Herbal eye drops (berberine etc.)?

Sometime after starting treatment, my eyes became red. Went to a LL Opthal. in NY State (she herself had had Lyme). She rx'd two kinds of antibiotic eyedrops. I started to herx in my eyeballs - stabbing pains like needles in the eyes.

Turns out that treating Lyme caused the spirochetes to migrate to the surface of my eyeball and inside my eyelid where they can evade meds and immune system. Drops did eventually resolve the problem.

Sick since at least age 6, now 67. Decades of misdiagnosis. Numerous arthritic, neuro, psych, vision, cardiac symptoms. Been treating for 7 years, incl 8 mos on IV. Bart was missed so now treating that.

For my husband, this was caused by Bart.

It is the one symptoms I have had the most trouble getting rid of. I am beginning to wonder if my eyes are permanently damaged. It has been blamed on all the infections so I don't know which one is responsible. Wish I did.

I do know that ehrlichia causes it in dogs so that makes me suspicious. In dogs ehrlichia goes dormant in the spleen and then resurfaces.

Are we talking maroon red... or a little pink?

My mother gets these blown blood vessels in her eyes that turn the whites of her eyes a dark blood red... and I worry about her.

She likely has undiagnosed lyme... I think I got my Lyme from her... and I KNOW she is living in a very moldy house.

May health be with you!

Toxic mold was suppressing our immune systems, causing extreme pain, brain fog and magnifying symptoms. Four days after moving out, the healing began.
