Well... I'm knocking on wood here. My husband has had kidney stones for the past 35 yrs. Bad ones when he was in his twenties, then small ones off and on for years.

About 6 wks ago he started getting bad attacks that got VERY severe 3 wks ago.

He went to our doctor and the Dr asked him if he wanted to go get a CT scan and lithotripsy or try to dissolve them with an herb.

Hubby chose the herb, of course!

So .. it's now been almost 2 wks since his last attack!! He had an attack two days after beginning the herb, then about two days again after that. NOW >.. heaven!

I'm posting this for those who suffer from this all the time. Try CHANCA PIEDRA tincture! We are hoping this works and he can stay on it.

Someone also told me that apple cider vinegar will do the same thing. Dunno!!

A friend told us the other day that a friend of his has been taking one teaspoon a day for many years and he no longer has stones.

I would mix that in a full glass of water. Tastes nasty, but so does the chanca piedra. Hubby puts 10-15 drops in a few ounces and chugs it down.

Look up "chanca piedra " at iherb and amazon. It is a herb that has worked breaking down kidney stones for some people . Read the customer reviews - it is safe .
Earth Clinic and People's Pharmacy are websites that offer self help solutions or suggestions for different ailments and the feedback of ordinary people with common health problems and their personal experience - often helpful.

Ironic, I just asked my LLMD's nurse to request the LLMD to research chanca peidra and see if I could use it.

I have had mulitple kidney stones in the past and want to do something before I have another attack.

I am also checking out a pituitary tumor.

My hormones specialist suspects that may be the cause of multiple unsolved conditions.

I have all the symptoms, severe constipation, high pituitary numbers, kidney stones, there are two others, can't remember.

Anyway, just don't want to go down the severe kidney pain road again.

Indeed, chanca piedra is fabulous. It seemed to have stopped a kidney attack in its tracks for me years ago.

Salvia m. (that m. is very important) is also very helpful as basic kidney support.

I have some interesting links for both, I will be back with those later.

Does anyone know whether it works on kidney cysts? Can't find that info on the net.

lymenotlite,

You may want to see a good naturopathic doctor. I know there are several in your area. One right in your town is Lititia Watrous (La-tish-a).

NOT a LL ND but a very good ND and she won't put down lyme - it's just that is not her focus. I've known of three people who have benefited from her knowledge (they make a six hour drive to see her). Her site:

lymenotlite... I doubt it. I think the herb works on the calcified stones. ACV is used when making bone broth and it breaks down the bones... same type of thing.
